Good to see the entrepreneurial spirit hasn’t been beaten out of Americans yet and people are importing the British version. What were the publishers thinking? That we would wait passively for this until next July when it’s available in the UK in October 09 in English. Ask your friends to pick it up for you at Heathrow, request it for Christmas. Buy it from Amazon.co.uk or any other bookseller with the smarts to ship it here.

To be honest the 4-stars are what I’ll hope I give it. Amazon won’t let me submit the review without a rating.

Wonderful characters, interesting setting, full of surprises, suspect that translation misses some of the impact.

It might look redundant to read all reviews and praise for Stieg Larsson final chapter of his Millennium trilogy, but for you to really know what all the fuzz is about, you have to have been immersed in the complex and exhilarating world of Lisbeth Salander.

The girl who kicked the hornets’ nest start at the very exact point its predecessor (The girl who played with fire) ends, and I have to say that along with all the thousands (if not millions) of followers of Salander’s saga, not only my expectations were high, but I guess as it happens with any series that came to a conclusion, you say to yourself ” This has to be VERY GOOD in order to not spoil the momentum that the previous chapters might built in you”, well, I join my fellow reviewers in saying that this book delivers and then some.

All the main characters are still here, and even some new are introduced to the story, and it is true that at some point, you might sense that you lose track of what is happening with whom, yet Larsson magnificent writing help the reader to get back on track and into the amazing conclusion of a well written story.

To properly understand and enjoy at its fullest the exhilarating conclusion of this trilogy, you have to have read the 2 previous chapters of this novel. At 600 pages, I have to say that at the 200 mark, I have the curiously sentiment that the ending for this novel will be a powerful one, and I have to say I was not mistaken.

What we have learn from Salander and her personal history before joining Milton Security or even knowing thru(and even developing some type of a relationship)journalist Mikael Bloomkist, will be beautifully described, complemented and perfectly accommodate to the story that will conclude with a trial that will give you goose bumps and a face to face showdown with someone of Salander’s past.

There is no doubt in my mind, this is by far one of the best thriller novel that you will ever find, so for rejoice or just to say goodbye to a wonderful novel history, pick this one as soon as is available, your eyes would not stop reading, your heart will not stop pounding, and you will be joining the legions of admirers and supporters of one very interesting anti-hero named Lisbeth Salander.

I thoroughly enjoyed this third and final installment of the series featuring the Salander/Blomkvist duo. This book is much more technical and dwells a little overly long on the Swedish justice system nuts and bolts. That being said it was a very satisfying conclusion to the best trio of books I have read in some time!

This was another outstanding book in the series. I think that all three of the books were very well written and an altogether outstanding read. Highly recommend all three and wish there were more.
